Suburban Pediatrics offers a full array of services to help your child maintain good health. You can read more on this page about specific services.
Sick Visits – Appointments are available on a same-day basis for sick children if a parent contacts the office within a reasonable time before closing. Children with earaches, sore throats, and/or fever for over 24 hours require an examination to insure an accurate diagnosis. Antibiotics are generally not prescribed over the phone.
Well Baby Care – Well baby care includes one or more visits to the hospital after the baby’s birth and routine visits from age 5 days through five years. A well baby visit includes a physical exam, immunizations, developmental assessment, and time to discuss your parenting questions.
Physical Exams – Our physicians recommend an annual physical for all school-age children from kindergarten through college entrance. The State of Missouri requires an annual physical for all students participating in high school athletics. Appointment times are limited so please contact our office several weeks prior to the time needed. A complete physical consists of vision and hearing testing, urinalysis, immunizations, the doctor’s exam and consultation, completion of forms, and time to discuss your parenting questions. Extra time is allotted for these appointments therefore they can’t be “worked in” during a sick visit.

Consultations – Our doctors are available to discuss behavioral problems, school difficulties, long-standing medical problems and other concerns. If you have a significant concern about your child’s health or behavior please tell the nurse when making your appointment so we can schedule adequate time.
Rapid In-Office Covid Testing $80.00 - In most cases, there is no cost-sharing to the patient for the expense of Covid testing. Not all patients are candidates for in-office testng. Please contact our office for more information.
